Gantry specifications
GANTRY (without false panel)
- Gantry consists of three parts. It's demountable disigned and delivered throught the labyrinth for installation in the therapy room.
- Rotation range: -190°/+190°.
- Rotation speed: from 0,1°/sec up to 6°/sec.
- The maximum activity of Co-60 source: 8000 Curie.
- The maximum size of the field in the isocenter: 35 cm x 35 cm
Collimation system specifications
- Asymmetric collimator's rotation angle: +/- 180°.
- Motorized wedge 60°.
- Detachable mootorized trimmers to reduce penumbra (less 1 cm).
- Removable applicator (load with blocks up to 20 kg).
- Clearances from isocentre to the surface of the collimator: 35 cm.
- Clearances from isocentre to the surface of the applicator: 18 cm.
Therapeutic table specifications
THERAPEUTIC TABLE
- Therapeutic table is isocentric, deck of the table is with removable windows.
- Rotation range of the table relative to the isocentre: -95°/+95°..
- Vertical movement range of the deck: 50 cm – 180 cm.
- Rotation range of the deck relative to the table vertical axis: -180°/+180°.
Control system specifications
- Control system is duplex, each drive of the gantry and the table is controlled by its own microprocessor. Connected to external systems (tomograph, simulator, verification system, archive, etc.) via protocol DICOM-3.
ROCUS-AM
Rotational-convergent teletherapy complex ROCUS-AM used for oncology patients’ treatment.

Rotational-convergentThe dose is distributed while rotating the gantry in range 0° ÷ 360° from one control point to another. The speed is selected a constant to ensure specified irradiation time. In the same time the head can move along the convergent axis. |

I. Radiation parameters
- Dose rate along the beam axis at a distance of 1 m from the source:

- The maximal deviation of a light field from irradiation field in isocenter plane - no more than ± 2 mm.

Under the separate contract JSC " Rawenstvo " provides:
- consultations on preparation of the protective accommodation, installation and operation of a complex;
- assembly and installation;
- preparation of the unit for certification;
- after-warranty service, including revision of the technical state of the complex, maintenance and repair work;
- delivery of spare parts;
- development and installation of the additional software;
- medical staff training;
- dismantling of worn-out units.
| "ROCUS-AM" UPGRADING |
ECE (engineering complex of enterprise) developed a work package to keep complex "ROCUS-AM" up-to-date.
Work package includes:
- onsite service for fault detection (2 persons for 10 days) and compiling a list of parts and assemblies for replacement.
- manufacturing of parts and assemblies for major repairs and set of instruments to upgrade the unit (6 months).
- repair and upgrading. Standard time to upgrade - 21 days, the time for major repairs is not specified, it depends on damage.
At the beginning of 2009 upgrading carried out in oncology clinics in the cities of Barnaul, Novosibirsk, Bryansk, Chelyabinsk.
